Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to put on weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-- - pounded her for an TKO victory in the second round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round and got an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match.
