LeBron Raymone James Sr. was born on December 30th, 1984. He is an American professional basketball player. He is known as King James he is widely thought to be one of the best basketball players ever and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James has taken home four NBA championships and four NBA MVP awards and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star with the most playoff points, with the second most points in his career total, and the seventh highest assists total in his career. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was picked as a member of an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. James has played in 10 NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between 2011 and 2018. James made part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He was one of the few NBA player to reach 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located near his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped up by the media. He was a pre-profession player and picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. He soon was one of the league's best players and was awarded the NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. James signed a free-agent contract following his failure to secure championships for Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland in order to join Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered among the most controversial free agent actions in sports history.
