Jessie J

Jessica Ellen Cornish, popularly known by the name of Jessie J, is a known English musician and singer. Jessie gained fame early for her unique style of music that mixes soul vocals and hip-hop and pop with electropop. Jessie has also won numerous awards and nominations, such as the 2011 'Critics' Choice Brit Award' and 'BBC's Sound of 2011.' Her career began at the early age of eleven when she was featured in "Whistle Down the Wind,' a musical that was written by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. Later, she joined the 'National Youth Musical Theater and was a part of their production of The Late Sleepers that premiered in 2002. Her fame was boosted in 2011 with her debut album "Who You Are,' which came out on February 28. It was an enormous achievement, selling ten thousand copies in the UK and 3,4000 copies within the US in just the first few days of launch.
